As a professional supplier, Mikrosize supplies high-performance metallographic microscopes. Paired with the metallographic image analysis software developed by Shanghai Dianying Optics, these microscopes serve as professional instruments for metallographic analysis of materials like grey cast iron, ductile iron and cast steel. The system integrates computer information technology, digital imaging devices, and computer-aided metallographic analysis software, enabling direct capture of metallographic micrographs from the microscope and saving them digitally on a computer. It further processes and analyzes the images to calculate required detection parameters, with test results printable as formal inspection reports.

The supporting metallographic analysis system delivers fast, systematic and accurate measurement and evaluation, complying with national standards (GB) and relevant industry standards (JB/YB/HB/QC/DL/DJ/ASTM). The system features a full Chinese graphical interface (English version optional), which is concise, clear, and easy to operate. Users can master it after simple training or by referring to the user manual, facilitating staff to learn metallographic knowledge and streamline daily inspection workflows.

The system includes core functions such as image editing (more than ten sub-functions including image capture and storage), image processing (such as image enhancement and superposition), image measurement (dozens of tools for perimeter, area and phase fraction measurement), and diversified output forms (data tables, histograms and image printouts).

It also comes with exclusive dedicated metallographic software packages from Mikrosize, supporting grain size rating, non-metallic inclusion rating, pearlite and ferrite phase fraction rating, graphite spheroidicity rating for ductile iron, thickness testing of decarburized layers, carburized layers and surface coatings, phase area quantification for ferritic and austenitic stainless steels, primary and eutectic silicon analysis for high-silicon aluminum alloys, and metallographic analysis of titanium alloys. Additionally, Mikrosize’s software library contains nearly 200 standard metallographic micrographs of commonly used metal materials for visual comparison, meeting the metallographic analysis and inspection demands of most testing laboratories. For new materials and imported alloy grades without preloaded evaluation standards, Mikrosize provides customized standard development and database import services.
