Core Features: Precision, Operating Comfort and High Efficiency
At the core of this microscope is an infinity-corrected flat-field optical system, equipped with long-working-distance objective lenses. The 40× objective delivers a working distance of 3.7 mm. This optical combination delivers outstanding image clarity with sharp, distortion-free visuals — a prerequisite for accurate observation of metal metallographic structures, PCB circuit boards and LCD panels.
Ergonomics are well-considered with a front-mounted ultra-low coarse-fine focusing mechanism. This feature minimizes operator fatigue during long-hour operations and enables intuitive human-machine interaction. Its triangular integrated frame further improves practical performance: it enhances operational stability while saving valuable bench space, a great benefit for busy laboratories and production sites.

Maintenance is simplified by a plug-in lamp replacement unit, enabling safe, fast and reliable bulb replacement. The microscope supports both bright-field and polarized-light observation to accommodate diverse testing scenarios. A full set of optional accessories are offered, including cameras, image acquisition cards, digital cameras, analysis software, reticle eyepieces and sample-preparation equipment.

Detailed Configuration: Configurable for Broad-range Applications
The microscope adopts the NJF-120 trinocular upright metallographic microscope main unit, with configurable components to meet varied application demands:
Observation & Magnification
A trinocular observation head allows seamless switching between direct visual observation and image capture. Eyepieces include WF10×/18 and WF10×/18 fitted with a 0.1 mm reticle and crosshair. Objective lenses cover 4× (WD 25.4 mm), 10× (WD 11.0 mm), 20× (WD 6.0 mm), and 40× (WD 3.7 mm). An optional 80× objective (WD 0.2 mm) is available for higher-magnification inspection.
Operation & Stability
A 4-position nosepiece enables fast objective-lens switching. The double-layer movable stage measures 150 × 140 mm with a travel range of 75 × 50 mm for precise sample positioning. Coaxial coarse and fine focusing mechanisms ensure smooth and accurate focus adjustment.
Illumination & Image Optimization
Köhler illumination is implemented via vertical reflected-light optics with adjustable aperture diaphragm and field diaphragm. Reflected illumination is provided by a 6 V 20 W dimmable halogen lamp for stable, adjustable brightness. Color filters (blue, green, yellow and frosted glass) together with polarization components (polarizer and analyzer) optimize image quality for specialized testing requirements.
